MAUSER C96 EARLY FLATSIDE. SN 28xxx. Caliber:7.63mm.
Year of manufacture 1899 - 1900.
Fully restored Large Ring Hammer Flat side with 5.5" bbl with Graduated
50-1000m rear sight. Usual chamber markings with a small Crown U on the
left side of the bbl extension and antler proof on right side. Early features
include the long extractor and a large ring hammer. The firing pin is strawed
and has one lug. Bore is frosted with visible but worn lands. Walnut Shoulder Stock
is in good condition no hairline cracks and with matching pistol serial number
to the Stock-iron.
Fire blued parts include the extractor, rear sight slider, bolt stop, safety,
and grip screw with original the lanyard ring. Trigger is strawed. Disassembly
shows all matching parts including the firing pin and excellent 23 lines grips
each scribed with the full serial number of the gun. PROVENANCE: CMR Collection.
