Terrific vintage miniature chained SS dagger, 7 1/4" long overall. The dagger is completely true to its big brother in almost every respect, with pommel and crossbar in fine condition, SS button and eagle perfectly inset and wonderfully detailed. The blade is spotless, with deeply engraved SS motto bearing all original shading, all fittings highly detailed and in fine condition, with felt washer as well. Blade and scabbard are bright and faultless, no damage to paint nor fittings, and the attached chain is likewise in superior condition. This piece is in very fine condition.

According to Himmler, every SS member was obliged to use the dagger
against anyone who had violated the honour of the SS or offended the
honour or the family of the SS member.
