Early Transitional Small Ring-hammer Mauser Pistol with Long Extractor.
Pistol retains approx 85% Nitre blue to small parts & rust-bluing with some
thinning of blue to muzzle and barrel end. Barrel lands show wear but still
shoots well without any tumbling. Stock Code Unit Marking T8195 displayed
on left h/s upper frame Chamber area. All matching part numbers including
the grips & walnut shoulder stock which shows two hairline cracks not uncommon
given the age of the pistol.
Production Period circa 1904 Waffen Fabriek Mauser Oberndorf A Neckar added
to the right rear frame panel. Matching numbered walnut Grips show some holster
wear in parts - otherwise in good condition.
An interesting early piece with a collectors value demonstrating the transition design period
of the C96 Mauser Pistol production as it evolved.
