WW1 - WW11 Full Leather Holster Rig marked A.P.H.Hoffmann - Berlin - 1916.
These early holster rigs were issued to the Imperial German Army & Navy
circa 1914-1916. And then later supplied to the South Americas & Balkan countries
for use with the later 1930 Model and M712 Schnellfeuer Machine Pistols.
Rig has a tab closure to secure the wood stock with a front pouch to take
the spare Magazine follower spring (it can also be used to take a fully
loaded 10 round Stripper clip. The side closure compartment is designed
to hold the wood handle metal shaft cleaning rod with jag end.
This particular holster was made famous by the young Winston Churchill who
preferred to carry a German C96 Mauser Pistol rather than his Webley
service revolver which was slow to load and cumbersome to shoot.

waxed Stitching as per the original holsters were.
