Vintage (style) C96 Mauser Broomhandle Keepers Bag. Traditionally known as a Stock-Keeper
made specifically for maintaining and the safe keeping of the C96 pistol and wooden
shoulder stock.

Note: Our Stock-keepers are all made from original military issue wartime
wool fabric and some may be slightly marked or flawed the authentic
100% wool fabric is over 70 years of age which gives the stock-keepers a
feeling of originality.

These keeper bags were generally offered by the Mauser retailer as an optional accessory
and normally purchased by those serving overseas in far off places such as South Africa,
India Etc. Trade labels such as Westley Richards & Co Ltd, Cogswell & Harrison and John
Rigby & Co were sometimes found printed either on the inner flaps or on the rear section
of the keeper.

Made from 100% wool with wood or brown bone button closures.
