Luger P08 Front Sight Adjustment Tool Marked "MAUSER".
Blued steel used to insert or remove the front sight
blade. This tool fits over the barrel and has a lever
to align the front sight blade with the barrel witness
mark.

It was used by the factory for initial sight adjustment
or by the unit armorer to replace damaged front blade.
The artillery and Navy front sight tools have higher front
sight post and therefore,different tools are required for
