Early WW1 Imperial German Erfurt (Proof marked) Front Blade Adjusting Tool.

Luger P08 Front Sight Blade Adjustment Tool Imperial WW1 German
DWM Proof. Blued steel used to insert align or remove the front
sight blade. This tool fits over the barrel and has a lever to align the
front sight blade with the barrel-witness mark.

These tools were used by the factory for initial sight adjustment
or by the Units armourer to replace ie. damaged front blade etc.

Note: Luger Artillery and Navy pistols front sight tools have higher
front sight post and therefore a different tool is required for
each of the models or variations. Very good original condition.
