This is an exact reproduction of the Remington Army case made by
Remington in the 1850's and 60's.

The dimensions of the case, the color, the style of inletting at the
hinges and lock and the original interior configuration are all
historically accurate. I can even provide you with a reproduction
of the original Remington label in the lid.

Do not confuse this case with the cases available today that fit the
Colt Army, Navy and the Remington. This is a hand crafted replica
that is in the original style and is twice the quality of those "catch all"
cases. Reproductions of the Eley expressly for Remington cap tin and
American powder .44 cartridge packet are also available.
